The Moglass is a trio from Kharkov, Ukraine that use guitars, effects, and other
self-made devices to create cool, almost
dub like music, with flashes of today's digital esthetic. It is classic industrial
music in true sense-noisy, rhythmical,
yet very musical. Filled with a sense of space and atmosphere, it is great music
for the mind to groove on.
It sounds like it could have been recorded in 1981, and fits in perfectly with
old Cabaret Voltaire, Eric Random, and
records from Rough Trade. But it is not the least dated or retro sounding. There
is much interplay between the musicians
and these are great songs in the best sense, well composed, and rememberable
that encourages repeated listenings. Highly
recommended.
